What does AWG mean?
The term AWG refers to a randomised generation of certain current voltage characteristics
Because of the possibility to generate user-defined output signals, the arb-generator can also be used as a function generator in lower frequencies with signals like sinus, square, triangle or saw tooth.

The Arb-Generator will be used during the development of various electronic equipment in our research labs for testing devices under different working conditions to insure optimum performance for most working environments (DUT - device under test). There are many user applications for the Arb-Generator. The automotive industry relies on the 'start-curve' to test their actuators. This method simply simulates battery-voltage behaviour. The AWG can give a far more scientifically correct analysis.
The Arb-Generator may also assist with inverter module and photovoltaic element inspections. Inverter modules are tested with multiple voltages. These voltages simulate solar element outputs which vary in day to day applications (bell-shaped curve).
The Arb-Generator's ability to store specific curve frequencies makes it easy to charge different types of accumulator-packs with a gentle floating charge.
